Abstract

This research aims at identifying the perception level of respondent on  the concept of privatization and its affect on public sector hospitals from workers and patients point of view.

This field study was conducted amongst the workers and patients of various hospitals in Jeddah - Saudi Arabia. A sample size of 400 was chosen ، 200 sample form workers and 200 samples from patients. The Sample Comprised of both male and female Section of the population.  A detailed questionnaire was administered to   both groups of the population study.

Findings and Conclusions: The collected data analyzed through different statistical methods. The study concludes that there are no differences in male and female viewpoints ‘whether workers or patients’ with respect to the ability of private sector in offering better health services. But their perception differed with respect to age ، income rates and qualifications. It was concluded that privatization leads to the offering of high quality of health and care services.
