Title Ways to invest patent: a comparative study between the Lebanese law and the Saudi regime

Abstract
The patent of intellectual property rights have been protected by national and international treaties. The most recent treaty in protecting the patents is TRIPS in 1994 . Adopted by the World Trade international organization the protection for patents but Lebanon and Saudi Arabia are still trying however it is expected that through the current negotiations they will enter it soon.
This study shows the different ways to invest patents, and the differentiation between them, depending on the situation of each case. In case the large companies, allocate a large part of their capital for research and development process, therefore; base on this direct investment, then the invention that have accomplish, will be either transfer to other developing countries, or control and be limited between the company and its subordinates through world.
However, the most common procedures, at the individual level and average sized enterprises, the patent may be invested in many ways through licensing contracts, concession contracts, through mortgage borrowing, or as kind of provided share in specific company. This research shows also that these contracts need to be developed in special rules, totally independent of the general rules in civil law, pertinent to the nature of the special subject matter of the contracts, as well as to the important consequential legal issues.
