A one-day symposium on the “Development of Sport Management from Universities to National Level” was organized on 24th November 2013 at Faculty of Economics and Administration, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah. Speaking on the occasion, the keynote speaker and Dean, College of Business, Rabigh shared his experiences in the development of sport management. He emphasized that students trained in sport management profession should not be contented after getting a relevant job in the industry. They should strive hard to make their practices applicable at the ground level so as to produce national sport personalities who would win international sporting events including the Olympics and FIFA world Cup. It may be noted that College of Business offers a two year Executive Masters in Sport Management, which is the first kind of its program in the kingdom.
