A WORKSHOP ON RESUME WRITING

A one-day workshop on “Towards effective resume writing and posting” was organized at College of Business Rabigh, on 5^th November 2013.The key note speaker Mr.Mashhour Baesan, faculty member, Department  of Marketing of the College, gave valuable inputs to the students in terms of developing an effective resume and posting it on social and job websites for better job prospects.

Various steps in the development of resume including personal details, educational qualifications, work experience, linkages with industry etc were elaborated. The  detailed information required for all these parameters were also explained. Tailoring the resume with the requirements of various social websites and jobsites were also discussed. Dr.Ghazy Al Hamed proposed the vote of thanks.
