National Day of Civil Defense

The students from the Department of Health and Hospital Management & Department of Accounting, College of Business, Female section, Rabigh participated in an event, “INTERNATIONAL DAY”(National Day of Civil Defense),  organized by the Saudi Civil Defense, at Red Sea Mall Jeddah on 1^st ,2^nd  and 3^rd  March, 2016

The students,  Haneen Zeid al-Hilali, Abeer Zeid al-Hilali, Ohod Mohammed Farea were part of the 450 member  volunteer group- the ‘Al Salam Team’ approved by the ministry of interior under the care of the civil defense.

The Objective of the event was to introduce the concept of civil defense for the community at large. The activities of the group focused on spreading awareness about the tasks and achievements of the department like fire fighting, diving and CPR/ emergency first aid.

The team simulated some real life situations to illustrate search and rescue operations.
