PRINCE KHALID AL FAISAL LAUDS THE EFFORTS OF KAU AT THE FIRST CONVOCATION CEREMONY OF RABIGH CAMPUS

The convocation ceremony of the various academic programs of King Abdulaziz University,Rabigh Campus was organized on 10th April 2013 at the Community Hall at Rabigh. Presiding over the function, Makkah Al-Mukarramah Governor,His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal,appreciated the efforts of King Abdulaziz University in realizing its goals and objectives by creating a pool of talented and skilled manpower which will serve the growing economic sector of the Kingdom. He praised the efforts of the different faculties and colleges of the Rabigh Campus adding that the various programs represented the commitment of the university to contribute to the overall development in Saudi Arabia.
President of the university, Prof.Osama Sadek Tayyeb emphasized on the importance of expanding the university in different locations so as to prepare human cadres specialized in various field who would cater to the growing demands of various industries in the Kingdom. Vice President (Educational Affairs),Prof.Abdurrahman Alyoubi sought the graduating students to apply administrative professionalism acquired through their education in their respective fields.
On the occasion, Dean, College of Business, Dr.Abdalelah S Saaty, reiterated that the graduates from different specialized streams of business management were fully equipped with skills and knowledge to pursue a successful career in the corporate world. He reminded the graduated students to fulfill their responsibilities with utmost zeal and enthusiasm which will make their alma mater proud of them.
The convocation saw the graduation of 30 students from Executive Maters in Sport Management. The bachelors level graduating students included 552 from Human Resources,170 from Marketing,15 from Law and 8 from Health and Hospital Management streams respectively.
